Scindapsis Golden Pothos

Sometimes called the Devil's Ivy, Scindapsis (or Scindapsus) is a family of tropical, evergreen ivies. It is very similar to, and often called, Epipremium as they look identical to the naked eye. Indeed, it is only by dissecting the plant's ovaries that the difference can be identified.
Many varieties of Scindapsis produce ariel roots which will attach to help stabilise the plant as it grows upwards. In the home, it can be trained upwards on a moss pole or trellis, or grown as a hanging plant.
All Scindapsis varieties are tender plants and are only suitable for growing indoors in the UK.
Scindapsis Golden Pothos has stunning, golden yellow leaves and is usually grown as a hanging plant.
To get the best from your Golden Pothos
- place it in a room where it can enjoy warm, even temperatures. It will not tolerate cold.
- ensure it gets plenty indirect light.
- water frequently but don't let it sit in water. Mist to maintain humidity or place it in a room with good humidity such as a bathroom
- feed as required in the growing season, easing off towards the end of the year as the growth slows
