Merryhatton Garden Centre has been helping gardens grow across East Lothian for over 30 years.

Current owner Helen MacDonald has transformed the business in recent years to create a vibrant garden centre and cafe that has a special place in the hearts of local gardeners and the wider community.

The products we stock, the service we provide, and the food we make are all driven by three factors.  They’ve got to be excellent quality, value for money, and what our customers tell us they’re looking for.

We aim to offer everything you’d expect from a local garden centre – plants, bulbs, seeds, furniture, and all kinds of garden essentials and decorative features to help you get the most from your outside space.

That’s not the half of it though.  We’ve also got books, cards, bird care, clothing, gifts, foodie treats…

The cafe at Merryhatton Garden Centre is a local institution, serving delicious home-made snacks, meals and home baking, using the best of East Lothian’s local produce and with a view that soothes the soul.  You can understand why some of our customers come every day.
